With this Visa, you are allowed to Live and work remotely in Portugal same as if you were working from your home. Only the “COUNTRY” will be changed.

Duration of Stay
1 Year or can be extendable for 2 years. This Visa is also known as Portugal Temporary Stay Visa which is best for remote jobs.
Requirements for Portugal Digital Nomad Visa
To be eligible for the Portugal Digital Nomad Visa you must have to fulfil these requirements then you can apply.
- You have to show Proof of a remote job. If you are working for a company remotely you have to show proof. The company should be outside Portugal.
- If you are a Freelancer, Youtuber, or earning online you have to show proof.
- You will be eligible if you are earning at least €2,800 a month.
- You will only give 15% tax for the first four years.
Who can Apply
- You are allowed to work as a freelancer or online business owner.
If you are a United States Citizen
United States citizens can apply for the Portugal Digital Nomad Visa as long as they meet the income requirement of €2,800 per month.
If you are a Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand
Citizens of these countries can apply and the same income requirements applied to these citizens.
If you are a UAE Resident
UAE Residents can apply for the Portugal Temporary Short Stay Visa and they have to maintain an income requirement of €2,800 per month for the last three months.
If you are an EU Citizen
Citizens of EU Countries do not need a work Visa to work in Portugal.
If you reside in any other country
Applicants from all other countries can apply if they meet the income requirements of €2,800 per month.
Income Requirements for Portugal Digital Nomad Visa
To apply for the Portugal Digital Nomad Visa you have to show your Salary or monthly income that you are generating at least €2,800 a month in the last three months prior to your application.
Portugal Digital Nomad Visa Tax Requirements
You will only be charged a 15% tax rate as opposed to the standard Portuguese 25% for the first four years of your stay.
Application Cost for Portugal Digital Nomad Visa
The Initial Application Fee is €180 and a further €320 for your residence permit once you are in Portugal.
