The US TechWomen Exchange Program is a Fully Funded five-week exchange program in the United States for International participants. The TechWomen program empowers, connects, and supports young women leaders in the Fields of Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the USA. The program brings participants from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East to spend five weeks in the San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago. The TechWomen Exchange Program is a Fully Funded opportunity for women that will help in Advancing careers, Pursue their Dreams, and inspire other women and girls in their communities. During the five-week program, participants will engage in a project at Leading Companies in the San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago. Eligibility Criteria
- Field: Applicants in the Fields of Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
- Professional Experience: At least two years of full-time professional experience in STEM fields.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Citizenship: Citizenship or permanent residency in one of the following countries: Albania, Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, or Zimbabwe.
- Visa Eligibility: Eligibility to obtain a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa.
- Immigration Status: No application for a U.S. immigrant visa (except the Diversity Immigrant Visa) in the past five years and not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
