Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship 2025/26 in USA & New Zealand (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship 2025/26. It is a Fully Funded Fellowship from the East-West Center and the Doris Duke Foundation. The Fellowship Invites Participants from diverse Backgrounds to Participate in a 2 Week Session in the USA and One week in New Zealand. The Fellowship is open to all the Nationals from around the world. There is no application fee. Applicants must be available to travel in October and November 2025 and for one week in May 2026. The Purpose of the Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship is to address the biggest challenges of today’s time such as access to resources, environmental and economic instability, and gaps in effective governance. Addressing these issues requires Leadership Skills, Innovative Ideas. Fellows will explore how Leadership can strengthen this system. More details are below.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Open to applicants from all countries.
  • Passport: The current passport is valid through the end of 2026.
  • Professional Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional leadership experience in food and energy systems (including advocacy).
    • Examples: elected officials, government representatives, advocacy leaders, topic experts, community/industry leaders, artists, activists, and social/business entrepreneurs.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent level of English required.
  • Education: Preferably a minimum of 3 years of studies in a degree-granting higher education institution (not required).
