The Applications are open to apply for the UNIDAR Outer Space Security Conference 2025. It is a Fully Funded Conference for individuals from around the world. The duration of the Conference is 2 Days, and it will take Place from 9-10 September in Geneva, Switzerland. Selected applicants will get a fully funded trip to Geneva, Switzerland, to attend the OS25. The Objective of this Conference is to invite Youth, Students, diplomats, technical experts, military officials, private sector leaders, and academics to explore the evolving landscape of space security and shape international responses to its challenges. Theme of the Program
Applicants will be selected based on a Video Competition. Individuals should submit a 1–3-minute original video on the following theme:
It’s the year 2050. You work on outer space security, shaping space governance as a treaty negotiator, orbital traffic controller, policy advisor, infrastructure inspector, or something else entirely. What challenge do you face, and how are you responding?
Objective of the Program
- Promote meaningful youth engagement in global space security discussions.
- Showcase creative and diverse perspectives on the future of space security.
- Encourage the next generation to shape inclusive space governance.
Note: You don’t have to be a space professional. But in the video, you are. Show your vision for space security in the next 25 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals aged 18-25 from any country.
- A 1-3 minute video based on this year’s theme.
- Your video must be original content created by you.
- No AI-generated images or videos.
- Submit your video in .mp4 format.
- You can use any language, but if it’s not English, please provide English closed captions.
- Produce your video in landscape (horizontal) mode.
