The Applications are open to apply for the Discover Canada Alberta 2026 Cultural Exchange Program. It is a Fully Funded Cultural Exchange Program for 4 Days. The Program will run from May 26-29, 2026. IELTS/TOEFL is not required. Alberta is a Canadian province located in Western Canada, and is well-known for its beautiful mountains, untouched nature, national parks, and its ability to successfully host international events. Calgary, Banff, and Kananaskis have become cultural hubs for Tourists, scholars, and diplomats. In 2025, the 51st G7 Summit was held in Kananaskis, Alberta, where the Heads of the different countries gathered. The Program aims to invite people from around the world to enhance the mutual understanding between participants from Canada and around the world.   • Promote intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding between Canadian and international participants.
  • Showcase Canada’s Indigenous heritage, environmental values, and multicultural society to a global audience.
  • Strengthen the leadership and global citizenship potential of youth by directly exposing them to Canada’s social, cultural, and environmental systems.
  • Foster international friendships and cooperation networks based on peace, sustainability, and cultural storytelling.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants from all around the world are eligible.
  • English proficiency (no certificate needed).
  • Travel experience (preferred).
  • Strong interest in Canadian culture and history.
  • Active on social media (especially if you’re a photographer, videographer, travel blogger, or content creator, but all are welcome).
  • No specific academic or professional background is required.
