Eligible Countries
Indo-Pacific comprises: Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, the Pacific Island Countries (14), Pakistan, People’s Republic of China (PRC), the Philippines, Republic of Korea (ROK), Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam.
Eligibility Criteria
- Hold citizenship or permanent residency in an Indo-Pacific country/jurisdiction.
- Education: An undergraduate degree (minimum) in a relevant field (e.g., Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Law, Economics, Sociology, History, Geography, Asian Studies, etc.).
- Current graduate students are also eligible.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in one of the following sectors:
- Government
- International or regional organizations
- Think-tanks
- Media outlets
- Business
- Academia
- Strong understanding, experience, and interest in:
- Politics
- Economics
- Society
- Diplomacy
- International Relations
- Security
- History
- Environmental Issues
- The program is especially interested in early- to mid-career professionals.
