UNICEF ECW Internship 2026 in Switzerland (USD 1700/Month)

The applications are now open for the UNICEF ECW Internship 2026. It is a paid internship for international students in Geneva. Education Cannot Wait (ECW) is dedicated to supporting the education of Children and Youth (3–18-year-olds) in countries affected by wars, disasters, and protracted crises. The ECW Program is hosted by UNICEF. The duration of the internship is from 5 to 6 Months. ECW is looking for five interns in total. Interns will receive a stipend of $1700/Month. The aim is: For every child, EDUCATION. Candidates from around the world are eligible to apply.  Purpose of the Internship

The primary purpose of this internship is to provide technical Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), reporting, communications, and operational support to the Education Cannot Wait (ECW) M&E team, while offering the interns a learning opportunity regarding the organizational processes that drive the ECW workplan.

Duties of the Intern

  • Collect, assure quality, analyze, and synthesize the Annual Results Report.
  • Perform data quality checks and follow up with grantees/managers.
  • Draft sections of the report (strategic objectives/education outcomes).
  • Conduct research, literature reviews, and mapping of reports/evaluations.
  • Review programmes and evaluations to identify patterns, gaps, and learning opportunities.
  • Support design and facilitation of learning exchanges (webinars, cross-country sessions).
  • Assist the M&E team with any other duties.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 18 years old at application.
  • Enrolled in a Master’s program OR
  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s within the last three years.
  • Academic background in Education, International Humanitarian/Development, and/or Social Sciences.
  • Lived experience in a low-middle-income country.
