IAPS AI Policy Fellowship 2026 in USA (Fully Funded)

The applications are now open for the IAPS AI Policy Fellowship for Summer 2026. It is a Fully Funded Fellowship for 3 months in Washington, DC, or fellows can choose to do it remotely. Additionally, all selected fellows are required to travel to Washington, DC, and spend a two-week residency Program from June 1-12, 2026. After the residency period, fellows can choose to complete the Fellowship in Person in DC or remotely. The IAPS AI Policy Fellowship invites individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop and execute AI policy projects alongside experts, enhancing their ability to create practical frameworks for managing both the benefits and risks of AI. Through the fellowship, fellows will strengthen their AI policy track record. More details are below.

Financial Benefits

Fellows will receive:

  • Senior Fellows: $22,000 Stipend
  • Junior Fellows: $15,000 Stipend
  • Fellows will cover all the expenses for the Trip to the United States from the stipend.
