Taiwan AID 2026 NGO Fellowship Program (Fully Funded)

The applications are now open for the Taiwan AID 2026 NGO Fellowship Program. It is a Fully Funded month-long fellowship for NGO Professionals to gain experience and know about Taiwan NGO Activities. Fellows will get hands-on experience and learn how NGOs work in Taiwan. The 2026 NGO Fellowship will run from October 4th to November 1st, 2026. The Fellowship covers the cost of Airfare, Meals, accommodation, and food, and Fellows will also get per diem during the three-week placement. Features of the Taiwan NGO Fellowship

  • Fellows will be placed in Taiwan’s NGOs based on their professional backgrounds.
  • Daily activities for fellows will include:
    • Event preparation
    • Project management
    • Fundraising activities
  • The program aims to provide fellows with insights into Taiwanese NGOs and their work processes.
  • The program will begin with a 4-day workshop focused on learning about NGOs.
  • Fellows and Taiwanese NGO professionals will engage in the sharing of ideas and experiences.

Eligibility Criteria

  • NGO professionals aged 25 to 40 years old.
  • Fellow professional background in Community development, environment, education, gender, human rights, media and information technology, LGBTQ+, medical service, and social welfare. Outstanding applicants from other NGO fields will also be considered.
  • Should have at least three years of work experience in the NGO sector.
  • Should be from:
    • Southeast Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam
    • South Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan
    • Northeastern Asia: Japan, South Korea, Mongolia
    • Pacific Island Region: Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu
