The Duration of the Program is 12 Months. Participants will spend the first 10 months at the University of Edinburgh and the remaining two months in their home Countries in Collaboration with the British Council. British Council is celebrating its 90th Anniversary. The Fellowships will begin in January 2027. There is no application fee, and the British Council covers all the expenses.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be from an eligible country.
- Must have been awarded a doctorate at the time of application.
- Hold a PhD or equivalent research experience
- Demonstrate a strong academic background
- Propose an independent research project
- Be able to spend the fellowship period in Edinburgh
