Erasmus Mundus MARIHE Scholarship 2027 (Fully Funded)

The applications are now open for the Erasmus Mundus MARIHE Scholarship 2027. It is a fully funded master’s degree program jointly prepared by the seven partner universities in Austria, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, China, and India. The European Union funds this scholarship, and candidates from around the world are eligible to apply. The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Scholarship is Europe’s largest scholarship program. Candidates will complete each semester in a different country, at a different university. The Erasmus MARIHE program also contains an internship. The academic year will begin in September 2027 in Austria.

Structure of the MARIHE Program

  • 1st Semester, UWK (Austria)
  • 2nd Semester, TAU (Finland)
  • Internship and 3rd Semester
  • 4th Semester, TAU (Finland) either at TAU (Finland), UASO (Germany), UWK (Austria), ELTE (Hungary), UA (Portugal), BNU (China), or TIET (India).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must hold a first university degree (e.g., Bachelor’s).
  • Must show a strong motivation and interest in the field of development and management of research and innovation in higher education.
  • Must have sufficient knowledge of English for academic purposes, proven by an accepted test certificate.
  • Accepted Tests (Minimum Scores):
    • TOEFL iBT: 92
    • IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall (with no band below 5.5)
    • PTE Academic: 62
    • Cambridge English C1 Advanced (CAE): Grade C
    • Cambridge English C2 Proficiency (CPE): Grade C1
  • You may be exempt from the English Language Test if you completed one of the following in English and resided in the country while studying:
    • A Bachelor’s degree completed in an EU/EEA country, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, or the US.
    • A two-year Master’s degree completed in an EU/EEA country, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, or the US.
  • Full secondary education completed in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, or the US.
