i-SEA Fellowship 2026 in Singapore (Fully Funded)

The i-SEA Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded, month-long hybrid fellowship in Singapore for young student content creators interested in ethical storytelling, digital media, information integrity, and responsible AI. The program combines online masterclasses, mentorship, industry visits, and a fully funded week in Singapore featuring workshops and an international hackathon. The fellowship will bring together 40 young content creators from across the region. More details are below.

About the Fellowship

Organized by the Centre for Information Integrity and the Internet (IN-cube) at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in partnership with the Temasek Foundation and the NTU ASEAN, China and India (ACI) Mobility Fund.

What Does the Fellowship Offer?

Selected fellows will participate in a comprehensive program focused on responsible digital storytelling and information integrity. The program includes:

  • Fully funded travel and participation in Singapore.
  • Accommodation and expenses in Singapore
  • Online masterclasses with experts
  • Mentorship from experienced content creators
  • Industry visits to organizations including TikTok, MediaCorp, and SPH Media

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18–25 years old if applying from outside Singapore.
  • Singapore applicants can be 16–25.
  • Be a citizen or resident of an eligible country in Southeast Asia, China, or India.
  • Be currently enrolled in a junior college, polytechnic, university, or another post-secondary institution.
  • Obtain a nomination/endorsement from their educational institution.
  • Have at least 1,000 followers on a social media platform.
  • Have a regular monthly posting history.
  • Be active on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other platforms.
  • Be available to participate throughout the full programme.
