What will you do?
The UNIL SUR Program is particularly for students who want to gain their first hands-on research experience in an international academic environment. Previous research experience is not required.
The program will run from 5 July to 27 August 2027, in Lausanne, Switzerland. All selected participants will also take part in academic activities, workshops, and social events throughout the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants from all nationalities are welcome to apply.
- Students must be studying biology, medicine, or a related discipline with a strong focus on biological sciences.
- Applicants must have completed two years of their bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates must be enrolled in their third year of bachelor’s studies at the time of the program.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required.
- Previous research experience is not required.
- Students studying physical therapy, nursing, dentistry, or veterinary science are not eligible.
- Applicants must be available for the entire eight-week program.
