Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have:
- The ADB Young Professionals program is open to nationals of ADB member countries.
- A university degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Environment, Law, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Relevant experience in areas such as climate change, economics, finance, education, energy, environment, public health, transport, urban planning, agriculture, and more.
- International experience related to ADB operations is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
- Be 32 years old or younger upon joining ADB.
- Must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
Role of the ADB Young Professional
- It is an entry-level program for individuals seeking a career in international development.
- As a YP, you’ll contribute to a wide range of ADB’s initiatives, including loans, technical assistance, grants, and knowledge-sharing.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will go through multiple stages, including an online assessment, video interview, and panel interviews expected to take place in the first quarter of 2027.
