ANSO Scholarship 2025 in China (500 Fully Funded Scholarships)

Applications are open for the ANSO Scholarship 2025 in China. ANSO stands for the Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions (ANSO). The ANSO offers 500 Scholarships in Total. 200 Master’s scholarships and 300 Ph.D. scholarships every year to pursue a Master, or PhD at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), or institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) around China. The CAS-ANSO Scholarship covers all the expenses for the full duration. Applicants from all around the world are eligible. If you don’t have IELTS or TOEFL then provide other proof of English proficiency. More details and the Application Guidelines for the ANSO Scholarship 2025 are below.

What is UCAS?

The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is a research university in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

ANSO Scholarship Benefits

- 6,000 to 7,000 CNY/Month for PhD for up to 48 months
- 3,000 CNY/Month for Masters for up to 36 months

Note: You are NOT allowed to apply for the ANSO Scholarship in both USTC and UCAS simultaneously, otherwise you will be disqualified from admission.

ANSO Scholarship Requirements and Criteria

Citizenship: Must be a non-Chinese citizen.
Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in either English or Chinese.
Age:
- Master Applicants: Born after January 1, 1995.
- PhD Applicants: Born after January 1, 1990.
University Requirements: Must meet the specific requirements set by the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).
