APRIGF Conference 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan (Fully Funded)

The Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APRIGF) is excited to announce a fully funded conference in Taipei, Taiwan. The applications are open to apply for the APRIGF Conference 2024. This conference will focus on Internet governance in the Asia Pacific region. A unique platform for discussion, and exchange of ideas on internet governance issues. The program is open to Academia, Civil society representatives, Government/IGO, Private sector, Technical, and students.

In this conference fellows from different countries will come under one roof where they will discuss issues of Internet Governance like protecting against cybercrime, the privacy of people, rules and processes that how the Internet should be managed. Fellows will get a deeper understanding of the emerging Internet Governance issues in the Asia-Pacific region and globally. Selected fellows will receive a full or partial scholarship that covers Airfare, accommodation, and stipend. More details are given below.

Financial Support

After the evaluation of the application the selected Participants will receive full or partial funding. The funding is towards:

  • Sponsorship for Flights.
  • Accommodation will be granted.
  • A stipend will be granted after the final confirmation.
  • No application fee.

Requirements for Selected Fellows

  • Individuals from the above-mentioned countries can apply only.
  • The program is open to both new and experienced participants.
  • Applicants must show proof of vaccination before final sponsorship for flights and accommodation.
  • Those who require a Visa for Taiwan must follow Visa Entry Requirements
  • All selected applicants will receive an invitation letter and a letter of accommodation.
  • Applicants must show interest or have a plan regarding Internet Governance issues.
