DGIST Summer Internship 2024 in South Korea (Funded)

The DGIST Summer Internship 2024 is a paid research internship program at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST). DGIST is one of the 4 institutes of science and Technology founded by the Korean Government. At DGIST, participants will get a Monthly stipend, accommodation, and meals. If you are an undergraduate student this is a great opportunity to carry out a research internship in South Korea and make friends, explore Korean culture, and think about pursuing a Graduate studies at DGIST.

Participants will intern at their chosen laboratory under the guidance of DGIST faculty members as visiting research interns. The duration of the internship is 5 weeks. Financial Benefits

  • No program fees
  • Stipend to cover accommodation, meals, and other expenses
  • Accommodation in a student dormitory
  • Cultural experience in Korea every two weeks with no additional
    fee.

Note: Participants will get KRW 759,000 to cover accommodation and meals.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to undergraduate students with at least 4 semesters completed.
  • Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.3 or higher
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Student visa holders in Korea are not eligible.
