Are you ready to spend 5 months in Europe? Each year the commission offers a 5-month paid traineeship. The applications are open to apply for the European Commission Blue Book Traineeship 2025 for the March 2025 session. The Traineeship is open to all EU citizens, and some positions for non-EU nationals. The EC Blue Book Training program will be held in the European Commission’s Traineeships Office in Belgium and Luxemburg. For this program, they prefer applicants without previous work experience.
The European Commission will cover all the expenses and it’s a fully funded traineeship program. Undergraduate students or graduates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the Blue Book Traineeship. Some seats are also reserved for students enrolled in a master’s degree program. Financial Benefits
Applicants who will Join the Blue Book Traineeship Program in Europe don’t have to pay for anything. The EU Commission will cover:
- Monthly allowance of €1376 per month. The Grant/living allowance is paid at the end of each month.
- Visa costs will be reimbursed.
- Medical fees will be reimbursed.
- The EU will cover the travel expenditure. (Airfare Tickets)
- The Commission does not cover accommodation expenses.

Eligibility Criteria
- The EC Blue Book traineeship is open to all EU citizens, as well as a limited number of seats for non-EU nationals.
- Have completed a standard 3-year higher education degree.
- have no prior work experience of any kind.
- Good knowledge of English.
- No need for IELTS or TOEFL tests.
- Work five 8-hour days – 40 hours per week in total.
- 2 days’ paid leave per month.
- There is no age limit for participating in the traineeships.
