FAO Internship Program 2024 ($700 Stipend/Month)

Applications are open for the FAO Internship Program. FAO Stands for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). It is the United Nations Department of Food. FAO aims to fight hunger worldwide and ensure that people have access to enough quality healthy food. The FAO Internship program is for Young men and women from FAO member countries to bring fresh, and innovative ideas to the FAO work domains. IELTS is not required. The FAO’s headquarters is in Rome, Italy. The Call for Expression of Interest for Internship is now open. The internship is available in Rome, Italy, and in other various locations.

The internship is open to enrolled undergraduate, postgraduate, and graduate students. As an intern, you will receive a Monthly stipend of $700. All interns will receive this stipend for the full duration of the internship program. The Internship lasts for 3-11 Months. Internship Location

The Internships are available in Rome, Italy (FAO HQ), Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, Near East and North Africa, and Africa, Europe and Central Asia.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Candidates must be nationals of FAO Members.
  • Education: Candidates with Bachelors, Masters, and PhD applicants can apply, or those who are graduated.
  • Languages: IELTS is not required.
  • Age: Aged between 21 and 30 at the start of their internship.
  • Family relation: Candidates with family members (defined as brother, sister, mother, or father) employed by FAO under any type of contract are not eligible for the Internship Programme.
  • Visa: An applicant must be able to get a Visa before traveling.
