ICYF International Media Training Camp 2023 in Turkey (Funded)

The Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) in partnership with TRT (Turkey) proud to announce that applications are open for the ICYF International Media Training Camp 2023 in Turkey. The 6-Day Camp in Turkey for Young men, Young women, and students from around the world will come to Istanbul and will gain experience related to Journalism. For ICYF Camp you don’t need to show IELTS.

The ICYF Media Training Camp will run from 18 – 30 October 2023. Separate Dates for Boys and Girls. It Invites Youth from Turkey, people from OIC Member states, and Muslim Muslim Minorities from Non-OIC Member States. The Camp will cover the cost of the program. Aim of the ICYF Camp

The aim of the ICYF International Media Training Camp is to empower the young generation on the journey of digital storytelling and news reporting in the information age using daily tools.

Exact Location of the Camp and Dates for Men and Women

Location: Marmaracık Youth Camp, Sarıyer, Istanbul, Türkiye
Dates:
- 18 -23 October for Young Men
- 25 – 30 October for Young Women

Benefits of the ICYF Camp

International Travel: International Travel Expense is not covered this time.
Local Travel: The Host Organizers will cover only local transportation expenses such as Airport Transfer, Bus transport.
Visa Support: The Invitation Letter will be provided for Visa Support
Medical: Medical & Travel insurance will be covered.
Accommodation, Local Tour & Further Cost: Host organizers will cover domestic transportation, accommodation, food, and other relevant costs related to local hospitality.

Eligibility Criteria

There are No Academic Requirements. Young Undergraduates, Graduates.
Muslim Youth living in Istanbul who are from the 56 OIC Member States.
Muslim Youth from the OIC Member States and Muslim Minorities from the Non-OIC Member States are also eligible.
Ability to communicate in English
Aged between 18–25
Eager to learn media issues and topics
Can be from any field.
Involved or interested in media-related projects
Passionate and responsible for attending the entire training program.
