Exciting news! Experience Japanese culture and immerse yourself in Japanese culture. The application is invited to apply for the fully funded conference in Japan. The International Youth Conference on Biodiversity (IYCB) is happening in Yokohama, Japan in 2024. The conference will be held from August 25th to August 31st, 2024. The goal is to bring together over 100 young people from around the world to connect, collaborate, and share experiences and interests in biodiversity.
This conference is a global contribution between the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN), the Ministry of Environment of Japan, the City of Yokohama, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, and the Japan Biodiversity Fund. Youth of this program will act as an agent of change for the benefit of biodiversity. The duration of the conference is one week. The eligibility criteria, requirements, and benefits are given below.

Goal of the Conference
The International Youth Conference on Biodiversity aims to:
- Empower young people to share ideas on protecting biodiversity across different fields.
- Get young people involved in achieving global biodiversity goals.
- Help young people develop projects to support biodiversity in their communities.
Selection Criteria
- Must be an active member of a youth organization/movement/network/community that is working on Biodiversity on the local, national, regional, and/or international level.
- Youth members must be between 18-35 years old by the time of the conference.
- Applications must be submitted in English.
