Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship 2024-25 (Fully Funded)

The applications are open to apply for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship 2024-25. The IsDB helps Muslim-majority countries and Muslim communities worldwide. Therefore students from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries can apply for the Bachelor, Master, PhD, and Post Doc scholarships. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, return airfare tickets, Monthly stipend, Books/clothing allowance, and medical allowance.

IsDB offers several scholarships such as the IsDB Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC), the IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc.), the IsDB Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP), IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program. Each scholarship has its requirements and the students from eligible countries can take part in the scholarship program. More details are given below.

IsDB will cover the following costs for a scholarship holder. Benefits for the family are not included.

List of IsDB Scholarship Programs

Here is an overview of the IsDB scholarship programs:

1) IsDB Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC) 

This scholarship is for Young Muslim students from Muslim communities in non-member countries to pursue an Undergraduate degree program in medicine, engineering, computer sciences, information technology, agriculture, and other related fields.

List of eligible countries with Muslim Communities:

Australia, Canada, Croatia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, The Philippines, Trinidad-Tobago, Vietnam, Zambia, Liberia, Cambodia, Mauritius, Macedonia.

2) IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc.)

This scholarship is for students from 20 IsDB LDMC countries in the field of Science and Technology. The successful candidate must secure admission in one of the IsDB member countries listed in the top 1000 in the Times Higher Education.

List of 20 Least Developed Member Countries:

Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Palestine, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo, Uganda, Yemen.

3) IsDB Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP) 

This program is dedicated to advanced studies and/or research (3-year Ph.D. and 6-12-month post-Doctorate) in the areas of 16 applied science and high technology. It offers scholarships for higher study at renowned high-tech universities and institutions around the world.

This scholarship is open to the IsDB Member countries.

4) IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program

The IsDB-ISFD scholarship program targets students from 21 Least Developed IsDB Member Countries (LDMCs). It provides funding for bachelor’s degrees or technical diplomas in medicine, engineering, agriculture, and other related fields.
