• Statement of purpose about 750 words
• Three letters of recommendation
• Official TOEFL or IELTS Academic score

Eligibility Criteria

• Anyone from any country can apply. The KAUST Scholarship is open to the nationals of all the countries.
• Meet the Admission requirements. There is no separate application required for the scholarship. All admitted students will receive the KAUST Scholarship.
• Upload all the required documents.
• 6.5 minimum bands required for IELTS.
• 79 Score on the TOEFL.
• Admission into a Master’s program requires completion of an Undergraduate degree, and admission into a PhD program requires completion of an Undergraduate and Master’s.
• A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant received a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Check the KAUST Entry Requirements.

KAUST Application Timeline

Spring 2025 Admission is only open to MS/PhD track and PhD applicants.

• Applications received after this deadline will be automatically transferred into Round 2 for Fall 2025.
• The Fall 2025 Admission is are open to Postgraduate Diploma, M.S., and Ph.D. applicants.

Applications received after the deadline will automatically be moved to Round 3. Round 3 applications will be processed on a rolling basis until the class is full.
