MCW 2025 Young Leaders Fellowship Applications are open. The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship 2025 is a fully funded opportunity in the USA for people worldwide. The Young Leaders Fellowship is a kind of leadership opportunity open to all young people between 18 – 26 years of age. The program focuses on management skills, and leadership skills needed to address the areas of education, health, and economic security. The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship aims to achieve the purpose of Local Change Through Global Exchange. It is a year-long program out of which participants will spend 10 days in New York, USA in July 2025. IELTS and TOEFL are not required. Please go read it I am sure you will like it. The MCW YLF is open to Bachelor, Master, and PhD students from any background. Just come up with an idea. More details are given below.

How will the MCW Young Leaders Fellowship Program Start?

1 Month Virtual Assessment: The program will start with intensive community mapping and needs assessment. Young leaders will be provided with tools and knowledge to asses their community.

In-Person in the USA (10 days): Young Leaders will travel to the United States in July 2025 for 10 days. Participants will come to the fellowship with an issue in the community they want to address.

Virtual Project Implementation: After coming back from the United States participants will implement those ideas and execute them in their communities.

Young Leaders Fellowship (YLF) Location in the USA

The 2025 Young Leaders Fellowship will take place in New York, New York, and Burlington, Vermont, from July 15 – July 24, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

I encourage you to go for it.

Young leaders from all around the world are eligible.
Young leaders can be from any field, discipline, or background.
Identify an issue in their community in the areas of education, health, or economic security
Be between the ages of 18-26 at the start of the program (June 1, 2025)
Be fluent in written and spoken English.
Be eligible for appropriate visa and travel documentation.

Note: MCW requires all accepted participants to pay a $100 deposit fee by February 12, 2025. The deposit will be refunded in full after arriving in the USA.
