The applications for the METI Government of Japan Internship 2023 are open for foreign nationals. METI is a Fully Funded Internship in Japan for international students. Each year 200 applicants from these countries join the METI internship program. For this internship, you do not need to upload IELTS Test. Also, there is no application fee. This is a Fully Funded internship in Japan.
Interns will be placed in different companies in Japan. The Internship will start in the Summer as well as in the winter. So, METI Internship will run in two batches. The total duration of the Internship program is 2 months. People from different academic disciplines can apply. Your airfare, accommodation, meals, and stipend will be covered. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, or METI, is a ministry of the Government of Japan.
Financial Benefits of METI Internship
METI is a Government of Japan Supported Internship Program. It will cover all the expenses which include:

Eligibility Criteria
- To Apply for the METI Internship, you must be a citizen of one of these countries.
- You must be proficient in English.
- You must be at least 20 years old and not more than 40 years old.
- If you are a student you must be able to show proof that you are studying.
- For Students of University or Graduate School: a letter of recommendation by his/her academic advisor
- For Graduates: a graduation certificate from a university or graduate school
