NQU 3rd Southbound Policy Elite Study Program 2024, Taiwan (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the NQU 3rd Southbound Policy Elite Study Program 2024 in Taiwan. This is a fully funded 5 months short-term study program at the National Quemoy University (NQU). The Southbound Elite Study Program is a special exchange program, Funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Taiwan, Republic of China. This program invites international youth to explore Taiwan. The program will run from September 2024 to January 2025. All expenses are covered.

Through this program, participants will get a deeper understanding of Taiwan. The program includes intensive Mandarin courses, studies in Cross-Strait Relations, Regional Security, International Relations, and the traditional culture of Southern Min. Additionally, short field trips are part of the program and free of cost. In total, there are three Southbound Policy Elite Study Programs in three Taiwanese Universities. One is the Elite Exchange Program at Taipei Medical University, the second is the Taipei Tech Elite Study program and the third is in NQU University, Taiwan. Participants can apply to any of these programs.

  • The program is open to sophomores, juniors, or senior students in Schools, Colleges, or universities.
  • An applicant can apply from an eligible country.
  • Be a citizen from Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Australia or New Zealand.
