Taiwan International Internship Program 2024 (Fully Funded)

The Taiwan International Internship Program (TIIP) is a fully funded internship for international students. The TIIP 2024 Internship will be at Academia Sinica and in partner universities. The interns will be provided with a halfway-round airfare ticket of up to $500, a monthly stipend, accommodation, and health care. Students pursuing a Ph.D. degree program are not eligible to apply.

You are eligible to apply if you are an Undergraduate student in the final year, a Master’s Student, and an individual holding a B.S. or Master’s degree. The total duration of the TIIP Internship is 2 months. Applicants from all around the world can apply. More information about the TIIP Internship 2024 is given below.

  • Undergraduate students in their final year
  • Master Students

Who is not Eligible?

  • Students pursuing a Ph.D. degree program
  • Students/Individuals who have attended the TIIP program before
  • The current employees or research assistants at Academia Sinica

Internship Duration: 2 months

  • 1st cohort: 1st May – 30th Jun.
  • 2nd cohort: 1st Jun. – 31st Jul.
  • 3rd cohort: 1st Jul. – 31st Aug.

Required Documents

To complete the online application, you will need to:

  • Complete your CV and Statement of Purpose on the research interests page.
  • Upload your official academic transcript on the current Status of Applicant page.
  • Complete all the required information on the online application form.
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, and IELTS are not compulsory.
