US TechGirls Summer Exchange Program 2026 (Fully Funded)

The US TechGirls Summer Exchange Program is a Fully Funded exchange program in the USA designed for women to give them Training and gain experience in STEM-related Fields (Science, technology, engineering, and math). The program aims to empower Young Women. For 2026, the program will also select 111 young women from 37 participating countries and the United States. TechGirls is one of the most popular exchange programs in the USA. It is a seven-month-long mentoring program, out of which participants will spend 23 days in the United States. The program also includes various trips to cities like Austin, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, and Seattle. TechGirls is a Fully Funded Summer Exchange Program initiated by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. More details are given below.

What TechGirls Will Do in the United States?

During a three-week program in the USA, you will engage in an Interactive Tech Camp at Virginia Tech to learn about cutting-edge technologies and explore different career paths in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

TechGirls will also travel to several US cities (Austin, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, or Seattle) to explore the Career in STEM.

Upon returning home, the participants are encouraged to implement community-based projects related to STEM.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Applicants:

  • Age: 15-17 years old
    • Born on or between July 12, 2008, and July 11, 2011.
  • Citizenship: From one of the above eligible countries.
  • Skills and Interests: Demonstrate advanced skills and a passion for STEM fields
  • Career Goals: Intend to pursue a STEM education and a career.
  • Language Proficiency: Have strong English language skills.
  • Commitment: Committed to completing community-based projects after the program.
