About UNICEF Venture Fund Internship
The UNICEF Venture Fund supports early-stage, open-source technology solutions that can benefit children and communities. The Fund works in areas including artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, blockchain, UAVs, IoT, data science, and assistive technology.
As a Venture Fund Intern, you will work alongside the Venture Fund team and contribute to identifying, investing in, and learning from early-stage technology solutions with potential social impact.
What Will You Do?
Selected interns may contribute to:
- Supporting startup sourcing and due diligence
- Conducting market research and reviewing company applications
- Preparing evaluation notes and research insights
- Developing briefs, presentations, website content and knowledge products
- Preparing resource mobilization materials and case studies
- Supporting portfolio management and maintaining information trackers
- Assisting with UNICEF country-office engagement
- Preparing meeting summaries and outreach materials
- Supporting projects focused on taking promising solutions from pilot to scale

Eligibility Criteria

- Be at least 18 years old
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or have graduated within the past two years.
- Have a relevant academic background such as Social and Economic Development, Business Administration, Political Science, Economics, Innovation, Public Administration, or a related field
- Have strong organizational and time-management skills
- Have good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Have good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Have strong written and spoken English
- Be able to work on a part-time basis
