Intern Responsibilities
- Perform professional library work under the supervision of the library staff.
- Sort and shelve library materials according to the UNU library classification.
- Library and information services
- Perform other tasks assigned by the library staff.
- Cataloging and metadata management
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be currently pursuing or have completed a postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) within the last two years, preferably in Library and Information Science or a related field.
- Be under 32 years of age at the time of application.
- Have no more than 5 years of relevant professional work experience.
- Possess native-level or fluent written and spoken English proficiency.
- Demonstrate advanced computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Have familiarity with ICT tools and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (preferred).
