UNESCO Wonju Literature Residency 2025 in South Korea (Fully Funded)

Spend eight weeks in South Korea. The Applications are open to apply for the UNESCO Wonju Literature Residency 2025. It is a Fully Funded Residency Program taking Place in Wonju in Gangwon Province, South Korea. The Duration of the Program is 8 weeks. The UNESCO Wonju Literature Residency Program will run from 1st September to 31 October 2025. The Objective of this Program is to invite writers, Literature connected to the cities that make up the Cities of Literature. Around 16 or 19 Writers and Artists will be staying at the Toji Cultural Centre. There is no application fee. Eligibility Criteria

  • No mandatory requirements for residents during their stay.
  • You’ll need at least B2 English proficiency to communicate during the residency.
  • An independent panel from the Toji Cultural Centre will select the resident.
  • Successful applicants will be notified by July 30, 2025.
