There is no application fee, and youth from around the world are eligible to apply for the World Forum for Democracy 2025. The Theme of 2025 is Democracy at risk: How can we revive it? It is a Unique Platform where people can debate on the Key challenges and solutions to democracies worldwide, highlight and encourage people for innovations in Democracy. Role of a Youth Delegation at the World Forum for Democracy
Young people’s involvement in the World Forum for Democracy is extremely important. Their ideas and contributions at the Forum are valuable because they get to speak for themselves, share their views, suggest solutions, and add a youthful perspective to all the discussions.
The young people chosen for the delegation will meet at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg two days before the Forum begins. This time will be used to:
- Learn about the Council of Europe and its work with young people.
- Get to know each other.
- Develop their ideas and work together.
- Prepare for the Forum itself.

Eligibility Criteria
- Youth from all countries are eligible.
- You need to be between 18 and 30 years old.
- You must be able to communicate and work in English.

- You must be motivated to share your experiences with democracy and help develop new ideas for its revitalization.
