Applications are now open for the fully funded World Bank GovTech AI Bootcamp 2026 in South Korea. The World Bank GovTech AI Bootcamp for Governance and Public Administration 2026 is now accepting applications from government institutions in low- and middle-income countries that are developing, piloting, or deploying AI-powered solutions for public administration and governance. The duration of the program is five days. The initiative is organized by the World Bank, the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS), and the National Information Society Agency (NIA).

What Is the GovTech AI Bootcamp?
The bootcamp is designed to help governments move from AI strategies and concepts toward practical implementation.
Participants will learn from Korean public-sector practitioners and World Bank experts who have experience designing and scaling AI systems in areas such as public financial management, taxation, citizen services, social welfare, and other government functions.
The program includes practical workshops, site visits, peer learning, technical exercises, and the development of an AI implementation roadmap for the participating government’s own initiative.
Up to 5–7 countries will be selected, with two representatives from each selected government institution invited to participate in the intensive bootcamp in Korea. International travel and accommodation costs for the two selected participants will be covered.

Team Requirements
Each application must nominate a two-person team:
