It’s time to study in Southeast Asia. The Brunei Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the applications for the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024/25. This is a Fully funded scholarship for international students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The scholarship is to study Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs at Brunei universities.
The academic year commences in July/August 2024.​ The government of Brunei Darussalam scholarship covers all the expenses including Airfare, Full Tuition Fee, accommodation, monthly stipend, and health insurance for the full duration of the program. There are 5 Brunei universities in which you can study on this scholarship. More details are given below.

Benefits of the BDGS 2024
- Exemption from paying tuition fees including acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees for the duration of the program
- An Economy class air ticket to Brunei Darussalam
- Monthly personal allowance of BND$500.00
- Monthly meal allowance of BND$150.00
- Annual book allowance of BND$600.00
- Accommodation at the residential college of the University/ Polytechnic
- Baggage allowance
- BND$250.00 to a country within the ASEAN region
- BND$500.00 to a country outside the ASEAN region
- Comprehensive insurance cover

Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is open to all nationals.
- Not exceed the age of 25, for Undergraduate, and Diploma programs
- Not exceed the age of 35, for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs
- Be proficient in English
Required Documents
- Certified true copies of academic qualifications and other supporting documents (certificates, testimonials, transcripts).
- Certified English translations of supporting documents
- Certified true copies of Birth Certificate and Passport
- ​References and recommendations from referees. (C1 and C2)
