University of Genova Scholarship 2024-25, Italy (Without IELTS)

Hello everyone. I came up with another exciting opportunity where everything is according to your wishes. You don’t need to pay the application fee. And it has no IELTS requirement. I am talking about the University of Genova Scholarship in Italy for the academic year 2024-25. The University of Genoa, also known as UniGe, is one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Italy and is located in the beautiful city of Genoa.

You will get a scholarship which is worth 6656 euros/year. This scholarship is for international students who want to study master’s degree program. You can apply for a maximum of TWO courses taught in English. ONLY for NON-EU students living abroad. The required documents are very basic. But it needs one additional document which is a CV. So you need to make a Europass CV Format. More details about the application process are given below.

Required Documents

What documents need to be prepared?

  • Valid identification document (passport or identity card).
  • Europass CV
  • Bachelor’s degree: final certificate, provisional, or letter from the University with the expected date of graduation.
  • Transcript of records.
  • English proficiency certificate or certificate attesting that English has been the Bachelor’s medium of instruction.

Application Procedure for the University of Genova Scholarship

This is the Pre-assessment procedure for students applying for a visa. The steps are given below.

  1. Register to create UniGe credentials (username and password).
  2. After creating your credentials, submit your application on the UniGeApply portal.
  3. The pre-assessment phase is mandatory for students from non-European countries.
  4. Remember to save each page of the application.

The result of the Pre-assessment

In the pre-assessment phase, they will evaluate your profile and your documents. You will receive a notification email. You will see your application in one of the following states:

  • Accepted: You have passed the pre-selection and are eligible to enroll in the course. This receipt replaces the letter of acceptance no longer requested by the Embassy/Consulate.
  • Conditionally Accepted: You lack some curricular requirements that must be met before enrollment.
  • Rejected: You do not have the course entry requirements.

Universitaly Website

If your application has been accepted, or conditionally accepted, you can proceed to the pre-registration phase on the Universitaly website. Universitaly is used to submit the visa application procedure. 

The University will validate the application and send it to the Embassy/Consulate. At Universitaly you can apply for only one course of study.
