Types of Estonian Government Scholarships
Three types of Scholarship Programs:
1) Scholarships for Degree and Exchange Studies in Estonia
- These scholarships support international students already pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Estonia.
- Exchange students are also eligible.
- Primarily for Master’s and PhD programs, with Bachelor’s level support mainly for Estonian language and culture studies.
2) Scholarships for Summer and Winter Schools (Short Programs)
International applicants interested in participating in the Summer and Winter Schools of the Estonian universities. The scholarship is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students. The Summer School is on the Estonian language and culture.
3) Scholarships for Research Grants for Academic Staff
These grants support foreign researchers and academic staff conducting research or teaching at Estonian universities.
