MPI Europe Internship 2024-25 (1310 Euro/Month & Meals)

Applications are open for the MPI Europe Internship 2024-25. MPI Stands for the Migration Policy Institute Europe. The MPI was established in Brussels, Belgium in 2011. It is a Nonprofit, independent research institute that aims to provide a better understanding of the Migration in Europe and maintains a better Policymaking. The MPI Europe offers two internships. 1) Research Internship, 2) Finance and Administration Intern. All interns will receive a Monthly Stipend of Euro 1310, and meal vouchers.

The duration of the internship is six months. This is an in-person internship. Participants will be required to Travel to Brussels. Interns will also receive a Lunch voucher of 8 euros per workday. There is no application fee and there is no need for the IELTS. To be eligible an applicant must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. Internship Cycle

  • Fall: September through the end of February
  • Spring: March through August

Support for Interns

  • All interns will receive 1310 Euros per month.
  • Interns will also receive Lunch vouchers of 8 euros on a workday that can be used in grocery stores and most restaurants.

Required Qualification for Research Internship

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Currently enrolled students in a master’s or PhD program can apply. But they should be available throughout the internship.
  • Show interest in the field of migration, asylum, or integration.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Candidates who are work-authorized in Belgium will be considered.

Required Qualification for Finance and Administration Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, but also Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Candidates who are work-authorized in Belgium will be considered.
