Singapore Asia Journalism Fellowship 2026 (Fully Funded)

The applications are now open for the Singapore Asia Journalism Fellowship 2026. It is a fully funded, all-expenses-covered program for the applicants currently living in Asia. This prestigious, fully funded fellowship brings together outstanding journalists from across Asia for an eight-week professional and cultural exchange program. The fellowship is hosted by the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), National University of Singapore, in partnership with Temasek Foundation. There is no application fee. More details are below.

What is the Asia Journalism Fellowship?

The Asia Journalism Fellowship is a highly regarded mid-career program for journalists in Asia. Since 2009, the fellowship has brought together media professionals from different Asian countries to exchange ideas, strengthen journalism skills, and discuss regional challenges.

The 2026 edition includes:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be available for the full 8-week fellowship
  • Freelancers may also apply if journalism is their primary source of income.
