Dates of the Internship
The start date is flexible and based on need. UNDP will review applications continuously until August 31, 2025.
Financial Benefits
UNDP interns will receive a monthly stipend, the amount of which depends on the duty station. Stipends are paid monthly.

Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will support the Chief Digital Office across several key areas:
- Inclusive Digital Ecosystems: Contributing to the development of rights-based and inclusive digital development, supporting digital public infrastructure, and assisting with research on digital inclusion topics.
- Country Office Support & Capacity Building: Assisting with digital and AI readiness assessments, national digital/AI strategies, and making digital capacity-building resources more accessible.
- UNDP Digital Strategy: Supporting the global positioning of UNDP’s digital leadership through research, managing digital guides, and analyzing strategy implementation.
- Business Operations: Assisting with various operational tasks (people, procurement, finance, internal processes) to improve efficiency.
- Thought Leadership & Partnerships: Researching potential partners, supporting strategic communications and outreach, and assisting with engagement in global processes.
- Product Design & Management: Supporting the design, building, testing, and implementation of digital products and AI tools.
- UNDP Transformation & Change Management: Assisting with knowledge exchange, tracking digital transformation progress, and supporting internal communications.

Eligibility Criteria
- Internship is open to all Nationals.
- Must be enrolled in a graduate program.
- OR be enrolled in the final academic year of a bachelor’s degree program.
- OR have graduated with a university degree within the last year.
- Interest/experience in the mentioned workstreams is desirable.
