Financial Benefits
Selected Graduate Professionals will receive:
- Remote Participants

About the Role
The selected Graduate Professional will support UNIDIR’s Security and Technology Programme, particularly its Digital Tools initiatives, including the Cyber Policy Portal and Artificial Intelligence Policy Portal. The role provides valuable experience at the intersection of technology, policy, and international security.
Responsibilities
Participants will:
- Support the development and maintenance of digital policy portals
- Assist in resolving technical issues related to online platforms
- Draft official correspondence and programme materials
- Create infographics and promotional content
- Support communication and outreach activities
- Attend conferences, meetings, and policy discussions
- Prepare written and verbal briefings
- Assist with administrative and coordination tasks
- Collaborate with international experts and stakeholders
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a graduate degree programme (Master’s degree or higher), OR
- Have graduated within the past year and be able to begin the program within one year of graduation
- Demonstrate strong interest in international security, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, or UN-related work
- Possess strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Have the ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with the following skills will have an advantage:
- Experience with digital tools and online platforms
- Knowledge of cybersecurity or AI governance
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Canva, or similar tools
