The University of Twente is a well-respected Public university in the Netherlands. The Round 2 applications are open for the University of Twente Scholarship 2024. This scholarship is open to all international students from outside the EU/EEA countries. Also, Dutch students and current students of UT can not apply. Students can apply for a graduate program (MSc) at the University of Twente.
The language of the program will be instructed in English. It is consistently ranked among the top 200 universities globally. The University of Twente will award 50 scholarships. The value of the scholarship is around €3,000 – €22,000 for one year. Understand that this scholarship is meant as compensation for study-related costs. It is up to the student how to spend the money. For example, you can pay your tuition fee from the scholarship amount, cover your expenses, etc. More details are given below.

Scholarship Value
Approximately 50 scholarships. The value of the scholarship is €3,000 – €22,000 for one year. The scholarship can be renewed for the second year when students meet the process requirements for the UTS.
Additional Scholarship (Kipaji Scholarship)
The Kipaji scholarship is only for those students who also receive a UTS Scholarship. The value of the Kipaji scholarship is up to €12,000. Students should also meet the Kipaji scholarship requirements.

UTS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- You will need to gain an academic admission letter first.
- You have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master programs starting in the academic year 2024 (September).
- After completing the application, it may take up to 8 weeks for the results.
- Obtain an entry visa.
- Satisfy the English language test requirement. Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills.
- The UTS is not available for EU/EEA students.
- The UTS is not available for Dutch and/or current UT students.
How to Apply for the University of Twente Scholarship?
You have to apply for a Master’s program first. Once you applied for a program and received an offer letter then you can apply for the UTS scholarship with your student number.
