Youth Summer Fest 2026 in Romania (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for Youth Summer Fest 2026, a fully funded summer program currently featured on the official European Union website. This 30-day program will run from July 19 to August 17, 2026. The 5th edition of the Youth Summer Fest will be hosted in Timișoara, Romania. Since 2022, YSF has brought together international and local volunteers in a vibrant exchange and learning context. A summer movement where young people create experiences for other young people, learn by doing, and turn their energy into real impact. This is not just a festival! It’s a learning festival. Here, you don’t just “help out”; you grow, experiment, facilitate, reflect, and level up your skills while having an amazing summer. A team of Dedicated volunteers transforms Timișoara and Lugoj into a playground for creativity, collaboration, and community vibes.

Financial Benefits

  • Accommodation: Provided in a student dormitory in Timișoara.
  • Facilities: Living arrangements include shared bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas.
  • Stipend: Participants will receive 9 euros per day for pocket money and food.
  • Travel Reimbursement: Travel expenses will be covered according to the official Erasmus+ distance band calculator.
  • Visa Fees: Please note that visa fees are not covered by the program (if applicable).

Eligibility Criteria

This opportunity is for you if you meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Between 18 and 30 years old.
  • Language: Able to speak English at a conversational level.
  • Event Management: Enthusiastic about planning and promoting events.
  • Active Participation: Interested in organizing and participating in various programs.
  • Facilitation Skills: Capable of (or interested in) facilitating non-formal educational activities.
