Applications are now open for the ASEF Young Leaders Training 2026, a fully funded leadership program for young leaders from Asia and Europe. This program focuses on “Anticipatory Leadership for a Human-Centred Future”, helping participants develop the skills to understand global trends, think critically, and create impact in their communities. Top participants will also get the opportunity to attend a fully funded leadership training in Tromsø, Norway. 40 participants will be selected to join the Asia Europe Youth Leadership Training from 23 to 29 August 2026 in Tromsø, Norway. Moreover, there is no application fee, and all the expenses will be covered.

What is ASEFYLS?
The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is a global youth platform that develops leadership at three levels:
- Self-leadership (YOU)
- Team leadership (WE)
- Societal leadership (ALL)
It promotes innovation, intercultural understanding, and community impact.
Financial Benefits
- No Fees: There are no registration or participation fees for this program.
- Fully Funded: Selected participants will receive accommodation and meals.
- Travel Support: Travel subsidies will be provided to assist with transportation costs.
Program Phases
Phase 1: Online Training
- Dates: 9 June – 30 July 2026 (8-week virtual program)
- Curriculum: Learn from global experts on leadership, systems thinking, and future trends.
Phase 2: Action Phase (Local Impact)
- Dates: August – November 2026
- Objective: Apply your learning by organizing impactful activities within your local community.
Phase 3: Young Leaders Summit (Norway)
- Dates: 23 – 29 August 2026
- Location: Tromsø, Norway
- Theme: Asia-Europe Youth Leadership Training: Anticipatory Leadership in the Arctic.
Note: Selection for the Summit is merit-based. 40 participants will be chosen based on their engagement and commitment during the Online Training Phase.
