Denmark Government Scholarships 2024-25 (Study in Denmark)

Denmark is a European Union country that shares its border with Germany, Norway, and Sweden. To study in Demark as an international student you can apply for the Denmark Government Scholarships 2024. The Danish government offers scholarships to attract international students to pursue higher education in Denmark. These scholarships are available for both master’s and PhD studies in a wide range of fields. After completing your education you can apply for the Denmark Job Seeker Permit.

Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens can work in Denmark for up to 20 hours a week and full-time during June, July, and August. Students can earn approximately 750 to 800 Euros/month from a part-time Job. 1) Danish Government Scholarships for NON-EU/EEA students

This is the main scholarship program offered by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science. It covers both tuition fees and living expenses.

Danish universities receive a limited number of government scholarships each year to fund highly qualified full-degree students from non-EU/EEA countries and Switzerland.

2) Erasmus Mundus/Joint Master Degree Scholarship

The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is open to both EU/EEA and non-EU/EAA students. Through the Erasmus Mundus scheme, you can apply for a scholarship to study specific Master’s degree programs.

The Erasmus Scholarship is Fully Funded by the European Commission. It covers Airfare, Stipend, Visa, Health Insurance, and Tuition fees.

University Specific Scholarships

University of Copenhagen: This university offers a limited number of tuition waivers and grants through the Danish Government Scholarship program.

Aarhus University: offers a Master’s degree program. The scholarships cover full tuition fees and living expenses.

Technical University of Denmark (DTU): This university offers several scholarships for international students, including the DTU Ph.D. Scholarships and the DTU Master’s Scholarships. These scholarships cover tuition fees and a monthly stipend.

Aalborg University: This university offers a variety of scholarships for international students, including the Talent Scholarships and the Merit Scholarships.

Roskilde University: This university offers Danish State Tuition Fee Waivers, covering only tuition fees.
