IRENA Associate Professional Program 2024, Abu Dhabi (Fully Funded)

International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is inviting applicants to apply for the Associate Professional Program. The purpose of the IRENA Associate Professional Programme (APP) to enable talented young university graduates and post-graduates to gain first-hand professional work experience in IRENA’s work and gain deeper insights into renewable energy.

The Duration of the program is one year with a possible extension to another year. Fellows will work in Abu Dhabi in Irena HQ. The Indicative Annual Salary for Associate Professionals is from USD 50,377 to USD 58,737.   • Post Adjustment: USD 36,976.72 to USD 43,112.96

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Science, or Renewable Energy-related fields.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in the field of renewable energy resource assessment, advanced knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and good knowledge of programming languages.

Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in other languages would be of additional benefit.

Skills: Strong quantitative and data analytical skills and Excel/IT skills are required.
