The applications are now open for the UNESCO China Fellowship 2026. It is a Fully Funded Fellowship offered by both UNESCO and the Republic of China. That is why it is known as the UNESCO/China Co-Sponsored Fellowships Program. A total of 27 Fellowships are available for students and Researchers. The Objective of the UNESCO China Fellowship is to enable participants to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral degree program at a Chinese university or undertake individual research under assigned supervisors in China. There is no application Fee for this Program, and applicants from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, and the Arab region are welcome to apply. Eligibility Criteria
- The UNESCO China Fellowship is open to people from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, and the Arab. (List of countries is mentioned below).
- General Scholar applicants must possess a high school diploma and be under 45 years of age.
- Senior Scholar applicants must hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent academic position and be under 50 years of age.
- English proficiency is required.
- Master’s Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
- Doctoral Applicants must possess a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
