USEFP is now accepting applications from Pakistani students for the Global UGRAD Program 2025 for Pakistan. It is the best opportunity for the students to spend one semester (4-5 months) in the USA. Only selected candidates must take the TOEFL/Duolingo English Test (DET). It is a non-degree program. Duration of the Global UGRAD Exchange Program
The Duration is One semester. Approximately half attend in the fall of 2025 and the other half in the spring of 2025.
Who is Eligible for UGRAD in Pakistan?
- Pakistani citizens.
- A permanent resident of Pakistan.
- The program is open to undergraduate Pakistani students enrolled at a university in Pakistan.
- Applicants are required to be in their 14th year of formal education. This is a new criteria added. 14th year means you are in the 3rd or 4th semester of the undergraduate program.
- Education until the intermediate level is counted as 12 years of formal education.
- Students enrolled in a two- or four-year bachelor’s program are eligible to apply.
- Students enrolled in four-year or five-year bachelor’s programs across all disciplines are eligible to apply.
- Age limit: 18-24 Years.
- You must submit current/most recent, and old transcripts with the application.
- If you have been to the USA previously on J1 or any other U.S.-funded program you are not eligible for UGRAD.
- If you have previously been to the USA on J1 or any other U.S.-funded program but cannot travel to the United States, you can apply for UGRAD.

- A candidate must be good at English.

- Two reference letters are required, but only from the shortlisted applicants.
