The Call for the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2025 is now open. Globalink Research Internship is a fully funded international internship for international students in Canada. A 12-week internship runs from May to October of each year at a Canadian University equipped with outstanding research facilities. Applicants will work under the supervision of a faculty member of a Canadian academic institution. Mitacs Globalink Research Internships can offer you a global experience like no other.
The MITACS Internship is open to enrolled Undergraduate students or combined undergraduate/master’s program from the following countries: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States. One more thing is that applicants do not need to submit IELTS Test scores. All the expenses will be covered. Eligible Countries, Universities, and Disciplines for the MITACS Globalink Research Internship
For the Globalink Internship, students from these countries can apply. Globalink Research Internships are open to all disciplines and many projects.
Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Additionally, each country includes the names of the eligible universities. If your University name is included then you are eligible. Check MITACS Eligibility.
Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Eligibility Criteria
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Meet the GPA requirements set for each country.
- Have at least one to three semesters left as of fall 2025.
- You are welcome to apply if you don’t currently have a valid passport.
- Obtain a reference letter from a professor.
- Update your CV
- Obtain your academic transcripts (in either English or French).
- Apply to a minimum of three and a maximum of ten projects and ensure selections are from at least three different Canadian provinces.
- Passport Validity should be till January 2026.

How to Apply for the MITACS Globalink Internship?
Review all the eligibility criteria and the requirements set for each country. And make sure your passport is valid until January 2026. Collect all the documents. After the submission of the application, the professors will review the application.
